Installation Questions
Where do I place my spigots in relation to each pane of glass?
Please see the image below for recommended spigot spacing.
What type of posts do I need to build an aluminium pool fence?
In all our aluminium pool and garden fence panel categories, you will find 2 types of fence posts that are suitable:
-
Fence Post with Cap 1.8m - to concrete in ground (or cut & screwed to wall)
-
Flanged Fence Post with cap 1.3m - to bolt down
For frameless glass pool fencing, we have 2 types of spigots:
- Core Drilled Spigot - suitable for grouting into a core drilled hole in a concrete slab
- Bolted Spigot - has a 4 hole base plate that can be bolted to concrete or a reinforced deck
For security fencing:
- We sell a universal post that can be concreted into the ground or bolted to concrete
How do I install my base plated spigots on concrete?
Firstly, you will need to make sure that your concrete slab is level. This is very important, as otherwise your line of glass may end up uneven along the top.
We highly recommend the following video made by Lee Benson, one of our customers in Adelaide. It is a comprehensive outline of all the steps required to install these spigots using our stainless steel threaded rod kit to secure them (if you are in Adelaide and are looking for someone to install your fence, Lee also owns a fencing installation business. Head to his website (www.leebensonfencing.com) or get in touch on 0404 264 167).
Do you do gate automation?
Gate automation must be installed by a specialist. We do not have these capabilities. If you would like a completely automated sliding gate, we recommend you do a google search for a gate automation specialist to manufacture, supply, fit and install your gate and automation system.
Do you do custom made fencing and gates?
Yes, we manufacture custom fence panels and gates, providing they are flat and level. However, we have a minimum order quantity of 10 panels for all custom orders. If you order your standard fencing materials from us, we will put you in direct contact with a recommended manufacturer who can make special custom panels, raked/sloping panels and sliding gates that will match our panels.
